Historic special projects

Moments that matter. Experiences that let them live differently.

Some productions go beyond a single format. They bring together a work, a place, artists and an audience in a distinctive moment. This collection presents Cybel’Art projects with cultural and heritage significance, including their context, production and credits.

Beethoven × Kalalumen — an extraordinary Ninth

Lausanne Cathedral · 9 October 2025 · 750th anniversary

A performance of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, Kalalumen’s candlelit staging and the grandeur of a historic setting. For Virtual Hall®, Cybel’Art entirely produced and directed the immersive version of this performance, delivered by the Sinfonietta de Lausanne, choirs and soloists under Julien Laloux’s direction.

Documenting a work, conveying a presence

Each feature distinguishes the original event from its immersive production. Dates, artistic roles, credited photography and press sources explain what was created, by whom and in which context. Technology serves memory, discovery and connection here: it does not replace the artists or their work.
